An early spring afternoon spent at a small stream flowing near the edge of an old field. Once farmland, it's now turning slowly back to the original forest.
While painting, I noticed a mink on the opposite bank hunting for food, but it never detected my presence. The creek actually has a different name, but I decided to rename it out of respect for someone who had been critically injured nearby in a serious accident the previous night.
