This painting site was quite far from where I had to park the car, a struggle in knee-deep snow. This tree is on private land where I often go painting and I've wondered many times how I could work it into a composition. It's sometimes a process of slowly realizing the potential in a subject, and recognizing there is always room for future changes and improvements.
